AVS is a member-driven society that relies on volunteers from its membership and the AVS professional staff to successfully operate. This requires succession planning, cultivating active leaders/volunteers from its membership, and operating under a fiscally responsible and stable business model.
Objectives
- Establish, maintain, and execute a strategy for staff growth to meet the operational needs of the society, including succession plans (2025).
- Increase active volunteers (by Q4 2026).
- Ensure financial stability while supporting innovation.
- Grow memberships within each category (corporate, industrial, academia, student, EC, technicians, government labs, international, etc.)
