AVS helps members form and maintain worldwide communities interested in common areas of science and engineering. AVS supports international members by providing professional development opportunities, managing international conferences, and growing relationships with international affiliates and chapters.
Objectives
- Increase participation from HBCUs, HSI, and other MSI.
- Increase student membership (CDG, Membership).
- Increase overall international membership.
- The award nominations pool reflects the growing diversity of the AVS community.
- AVS leadership and volunteers should reflect various employment sectors (academia, industry, government).
