Objectives
- Grow Quantum Science – embed topic into Society by expanding beyond journal launch to fully embed this topic into the Society
- e-Spectra – define a plan to expand or eliminate the product.
- Increase journal submissions and quality – ensure strength and vibrancy and ensure continuity of editorial team; increase the number of submissions, and publications, and enhance quality.
- Implement digital distribution technology to further leverage technical content to reach a wider audience.
- Incorporate a process to ID new hot topics, evaluate existing topics (where are they in the natural life cycle of a hot topic), facilitate more collaboration between divisions, and align symposium with hot topics.
- Ensure the health and vibrancy of the Chapters (CDG).
- Expand AVS’ exposure to a broader audience.
